Which sprocket to remove it for?

Most remove the 15 & 17 then put in a 16 for better spread.

That's 15 Or 17, only one.
I've removed the 17.
Edit, oops read that wrong, if you do remove two then yes put one back.

I removed 17T too,can't say it bothers me in the slightest with the small bump in the gears. 🙂
