would be an easy and nice setup of 1x10 for mtb

but i also use mtn rear mechs + mtb cassettes on my all-round roady (2x9) was recently thinking of roady 1x10 with the above
but as i understand it unlike the golden days of 9speed , you cannot mix roady and mtb 10 or 11 speed shifters and mechs! 🙁
Looks interesting, like the idea of extra chain wrap, my cassettes don't last nearly as long as they should with a 42t. Have a rad cage on one bike, will try this on the other and see which is best!
Added advantage this would probably snap before your hanger does, so just remove it and carry on!
