[Closed] 40 km MTBO - Aldershot - 19th Dec

This might be a bit niche for the usual news channels so I'll put it on here.

There is a mountain bike orienteering event near Aldershot on the 19th.

Several courses available up to 40 km.

This is on military land with loads of singletrack (like the Merida Brass Monkeys terrain) and pretty much open access.

£10 entry for long courses or £6 for the shorter ones + £1 to hire your timing chip if you don't have one.

There are also some foot-O courses available, and if you fancy a real challenge it is possible to do both within the time available (like me 🙂 )

All you need is a compass and a map board (a bit of old hardboard ziptied onto your handlebars + big elastic bands or bulldog clips)
