I'm sure I have a couple of those in the spares bin. If you don't get a good answer drop me a msg and I'll post it to you. I'd need to check tho, defo have one for two chainrings, not sure for three.

Yours brand new for the princely sum of £15, complete with window and multi-release, by the look of it

Ah thanks!

ideally don’t want a window thingy in it- do you if they can be removed.

appreciate the link 👍🙏

Probably not removable tbh, not without leaving the innards open to muck and bullets anyway.

I'm pretty sure Shimano used to secure the cover you needed if you removed the shifter window to the underside of the shifter window itself. I have definitely had little disc shaped covers that go over the hole where the shifter window used to be.

The exploded diagram on the SJS link shows a cover for the removed shifter window.

And another website selling the same shifter:

Shimano SLX SL-M7000 SLX shift lever; band-on; 2/3-speed left hand – BikeParts.co.uk

has this in the description:

  • Removable optical gear display with integrated cover allows the use of these shifters with any brake lever

A review of the 11-speed (RH version) comments specifically on this (scroll down to the review):

Shimano SLX SL-M7000 SLX shift lever; band-on; 11-speed right hand – BikeParts.co.uk
