Anyone done the 3dales mtb challenge, which is on Sunday start grassington 38 miles grassington
I’ve not ridden around these parts so, want to ask the trail/ bridleway conditions any other info
Currently got a minion SS on rear, but thinking of switching to an ardent race back tyre, less grip but faster rolling
What’s the ground like is it regular moorland tracks or lose rubble type tracks

The Ardent will be fine. It's mostly good tracks, grass, with only a couple of rougher sections.
I'm currently running a Bonty XR2 on the rear, if that's any help.

i'll get them switched over then, got a few local XC events planned in June/july so can get a few months of riding in, before reverting back to the minion SS for some enduros..
with the ardent race tyre i just recall a dry summer and an excellent tyre, then the week before ardrock it rained a bit and my back wheel was fishtailing in the local woods, so changed it..
