Aaarghhh....took me 3600 jap light out for a jajnt last night,third time of using since new,bloody thing goes outafter 30min of med beam.....turns out a few specs of water found way into battery pack & corrode the hell out of the battery bits....now wont go at all....duh!... anyone else had greif??.. ordered new batt pack from ebay for 12quid....

Sealing on the batteries is a common issue. There are some threads on DIY fixes included tape, condoms and rubber gloves. Basically something is better than nothing when you get your new pack.
Got a 17 quid magicshine/DX xml T6 off eBay. First thing I did was stick battery inside a section of old inner tube then wrapped the whole lot in duct tape.
I don't always shop ghetto but sometimes the price differential is so great it would be daft not to.
