is there anything much to stop m from running my 26" wheels on my 29er? Assume the hubs and rotors fit..... and is there any benefit? what are the issues? just wondering as my 26" wheelset is light and fast - my 29er is less so - and so for some routes it may have some advantages.....

anyone done this? experiences?
