Chance of getting a deal on anything winter related as the first cold snap hits = zero.
Just be lucky if you can actually find some!

try some of the contnental sites , i saw winter marathons for 22quid on there.

they had conti nordic spikes for about 40 quid each on rosebikes.

I thought about it then decided to stick with my 26inch bike and fit the conti claws i already have.

I'd assumed [url= http://45nrth.com/products/category/tires ]45Nrth[/url] would do something suitable, but it appears not.

Schwalbes or studded 700c touring tyres look to be the options.

I have Ice Spiker Pros in 26" flavour - for two weeks last year my canalside commute was sheet ice after snow, they saved me roughly £50 in petrol.

The extra weight saving over the standard Ice Spikers (even MrsMCTD grasped it) means that the cost should pay itself back in another couple of winters in petrol alone, let alone costs of ripped jackets, banged helmets and physio from tarmac surfing the winter before..... 😳
