on the lookout for some new forks of the 29er, tapered flavour and found these.....

Roughly translates to £255

or there are these closer to home for £279......

Has anyone else seen anything worth considering? That sort of figure is my ceiling, ideally some good second-hand one would be better if you're sellin'??? 😉

Thanks in advance

JB

Those actionsports ones will be more like 275 after postage plus actionsports card charge plus your own credit card international currency charge...

Dual air definitely preferable to Solo, but unless you already have one youd need to price in for a maxle wheel - but maxle is a definite plus in my book.

Actionsports do take PayPal but they charge the same amount for it. And PayPal still sting an international transaction fee, which for me in the past is higher than the.credit card charge.

I keep eyeing up these Rebas on merlin. 270 quid, Maxel lite, but never in stock for very long. Cheap as anything on the continent as far as my research goes.

Edit: and they do cash back via the usual sites if you're desperate to save the pennies.

Double edit: I think they've been in stock about twice since the new year so you have to be pretty quick when you get the notification. My dithering over getting SIDs means I've missed out twice.

Yep - I got those Rebas from Merlin as well - they were the cheapest, just. Also look at JE JAMES

The other consideration is returns and warranty. I ordered a chain device from Germany then had a change of plans but the returns form was obviously in German and then theres the more expensive return postage.
