[#5410363]

Got a new frame coming. 650b setup so need some new forks. Choice for forks is not great, but I could get the 9er version of the fork I want (new pike). Axel to crown isn't too far different and the travels right... Or is it not that simple?

Anyone tried it?

Neil

My wife runs a Reba 29er with her 650b and it doesn't effect her. I've not ridden her bike at far and it feels ok

650 wheel on a 29er fork is the cycling equivalent of crossing hte streams in Ghostbusters.

I stuck a 26" wheelset on my Niner for a laugh.
Bottom bracket was a tad low... ๐Ÿ˜€

"what did you do Ray" - one of the best lines of any film, ever made. Point made. Step away from the compromise.
