Hi folks

Has anyone tried running a 27.5 wheel and tyre combo on the Pickenflick. I am thinking about a 2.1 thunder Burt on the back.

Has anyone had any success if so with what tyre?

Cheers
Rich

I ran 2.0" Schwalbe Hurricanes on mine for a few weeks, but that was only on the road. Clearance was a bit tight, especially at the front. That's on 29er wheels though, so 27.5 would have been fine, though not sure at the rear with 2.1" tyres.

Depends on the vintage. My early 2014 Pick barely takes 35mm CX tyres yet other get 40mm Nanos in.

mattsccm - good point. I'm referring to the 2016 version that has about 1cm clearance either side of my 35mm CX tyres (700c)

Sorry, can't really help with this. My 650s have 2.35s on and won't fit in the 16 pickenflick.
Some 2.1s may go in buy anything with side knobs would be a no.

I use 700s with 35 Gones
