What options are there for a 27.2mm diameter dropper seatposts? Especially at the more budget end of the market?
Why don't many manufacturers make them? Is it because the technology required doesn't fit into that space very reliably?
KS - plenty of options from cheap to integral expensiveness.
IIRC start about £80 for the eten and go from there.
Stif cycles in the uk or go to bike-discount.
There's been loads of these threads. Just do a forum search.
Got myself a KS one for £55 thanks to the last one 🙂
There's loads on ebay. I have a gravity dropper and it's been faultless but there are cheaper.
for eg with remote: £69 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2017-NEWEST-Tmars-471L-Dropper-Seatpost-27-2-30-9-31-6-X-440-mm-3-stage-/262667447669?var=&hash=item3d28332d75:m:mgnudbB6djevNSuHAwdYtCw
or £60 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REMOTE-ADJUSTABLE-27-2mm-DROPPER-POST-3-HEIGHTS-/251658583924?epid=756466904&hash=item3a98053f74:g:BgYAAOSwpP9Y7k-8
Hmm. Fair enough. I wasn't sure if something so cheap from eBay would be reliable but it's good to see that others have success stories
Search eBay for moosbikeparts - I've just got a 27.2 Eten for £55 or thereabouts. Non remote but that's what I wanted anyway. Ordered last Thursday, arrived today.
I had a good look round earlier this year and went for a KS E-Ten (non-remote) for about £50 on eBay.
No problems so far.
