I've been looking at some carbon rims from Lightbicycle (am730 - to go on my Transition Patrol), not quite the bargin they used to be but I can't seem to find much to rival them. Is there anything else I should be looking at before I hit the buy button?
Trail/enduro and bike park use.
How about the Newmen rims? (although the sidewalls aren't the tallest)

I've just bought a pair of the Reynolds black label wheels from Wiggle at a nice reduction.
Seem to be great so far and the I9 hubs makes a noise that scares public, which is both a problem and a bonus.
Think they have a few options left for 27.5 wheels. Worth a look, even if you don't need full wheels.
I weigh 13 stone kitted up and have cracked 2 carbon rims, 1 Light Bicycle and 1 unbranded both 30mm internal and supposed to be for enduro.
Neither was through big drops and some huge crash.
1 was on full susser and 1 on hardtail.
I won’t be getting another.
Depending on your weight, riding style I’d go either Flow Mk3 which aren’t that much heavier than carbon or for slightly more weight then DT Swiss Ex511.
ex 471 or reserve carbon.
