Hi all, I'm in the process of restoring my old 1x1. There's a lot more 27.5 stuff Vs 26 around nowadays. It would be more convenient to go to 27.5. I'm pretty certain the clearance would be fine, but I'm wondering about BB height/geometry. Any experiences out there, maybe just from other 26->27.5 conversions?

I ran my Surly Instigator 1.0 with 27.5 wheels for a while. Up to a 2.3 fitted fine in the back.
Raised the BB a bit, but as I ride a lot of rooty trails, that was no bad thing.
Last time I built it up I did it 26/27.5 mullet, slackened the HA a bit which was good.

I might give it a go. There's just more rim and tyre choice, as well as my having other bikes with 27.5.
