As it says. Any recommendations of 1.8 width tyres as an alternative to Racing Ralphs (don't seem to make them in 1.8).

I could possibly use 1.9 or 2.0 but not really any wider (restricted clearance on chainstay).

I take it Ron's are a bit racier? (if such a thing exists!)

They're a lighter carcass, less tread on the shoulders but more in the middle. Good tyres.

Thanks. Any non Schwalbe alternatives? (not got a problem with Schwalbe, just wondering).

I have a Conti Explorer, that is supposed to be 2.1, but looks skinnier - it was recommended to me by someone on STW as its like a Vertical, but I was struggling for clearance, don't know if the tread pattern is suitable for your intended use, but might be worth a look.

Specialized Houffalize come in 1.8, not TLR specified but I've run them tubeless without probs
