I guess a lot of people on here will know the father and son duo of Richard and Tom Seipp (@richpips and Minipips) - they've been a regular on the 24hr scene for a decade at least, done a few of the Peaks Pootles too.
Back in 2012, Tom became the youngest person to do the Festive 500 (aged 7) and over the years since that first Festive 500, Tom has had several mentions from Rapha as well as doing a couple of talks at the Manchester clubhouse.
He became the youngest person to do an Everesting, he's done various 24hr races, more Festive 500's, bikepacking, the Highland Trail 550 and culminating last year in doing the Tour Divide which is a fair chunk to go at between the ages of 7 and 15.
Anyway, after those years of adventure, Rich & Tom have written a book called 22,000 Miles (the distance that Tom has ridden since that first Festive 500) which launched on Kickstarter today!

Unborked - think it might have been the go-live time. Thanks for the heads-up!
Thanks James.
We are nearly there already!
that's pretty cool, rich. will you close the kickstarter and start production early when the target is met?

NBT - No we’ll let it run as though the book is written, it still needs laying out and printing.
Well that was a bit of an epic - finally managed to register my support and pledge.
Thanks for all your pledges.
The target has been reached, so there will be a book.
Keep ‘em coming though. 🙂
Bumping this - backed last night.
looks great - just backed 🙂
Backed - can't wait for the book!
Thanks folks.
I’ve just added the Tour Divide map to the project. There will be a Highland Trail 550 map also soon.
Done!
Is my book ready yet?
So looking forward to this.
Memories of Tom eating (crunching) uncooked, dried pasta straight out of the bag, well lets face it if any 6 year old needed his carbs, it was Tom.

They arrived the other day, Rich has been busy posting them out. I got mine a couple of days ago. I knew a lot of the stories on them anyway but the book is a great read and some lovely photos.
If you didn't get one in the Kickstarter pledge, there's a link here to get one direct:

Still waiting for mine. Hurry up postie!
