What's the physical change? Lop 5mm off each size and reduce the diameter?

I've got a hub with replaceable 20mm bits, but the manufacturer is saying 15mm adaptors aren't available, but won't say why they won't work. Any ideas? Is it likely to be that the disc rotors will catch on the forks?

I can of course buy a new hub from them, but that doesn't really help as I was hoping to be able to quickly swap the wheel between bikes.

Mate runs 20mm crossmax xl's on talas 15mm forks. He got a lad who posts on here (northcountyboy) to machine out the QR adaptors to 15mm, works a treat.

See, that's what I thought, should be quite simple. But they're saying that it doesn't work, not that they don't do the adaptors, but that it's not possible.

Mind you the importers are claiming they've stopped getting the hubs because they don't do various adaptors for them. They too want to sell me some different hubs, despite this not really being any use to me.

I'd have thought I could send some 20mm adaptors to be machined to with, then have them sleeved to 15mm.

It looks like I might have found a better option though; the frame I want second hand with a set of wheels that are adaptable to 15mm, for quite a bit less than the brand-new price. Just need to round up some cash....
