Have had this dropper for nearly a year now and recently it has started dropping an inch while sitting on it (and riding), then unweight and press the leader and it pops back up to full extension. I've not had it apart yet so is there an easy DIY fix at home or does it need sending off for a full service?
I've seen a previous thread, but that was for new posts doing the same thing and all (I think) were warranty jobs
If it's out of warranty then you can try a DIY fix first. I did my ancient lev the other day - the biggest faff was getting the bottom seal screwed back into the cartridge (and yes you will spread a bit of oil around too).
