@dirtyrider - Yep. LBS have taken a bit of a punt on it, ordered a fair few, and are offering it with a pimpy wheel upgrade option. The frame is stunning, 105 is very solid, so whack some bling wheels on and you're good to go! Very much one of those who understand that good aluminium is better than cheap carbon, that's for sure.
Ruined by offering it with a double chainset!
That bike is a pure crit racer - super sharp angles, really stiff. Needs a 1x coupled with an 11-23 cassette. That wheel upgrade is nice though.
IIRC, there is a one by option in the range. Will double check the book.
Just back ordered a new Scott Spark RC 29 frame set for next year, hoping it's as yellow as it looks in the pictures!
That Focus looks like a really angry wasp. I like!
Focus Jam Factory.

boom! (buzz?)
Was very fortunate to get to ride it a lot this summer. Never have I enjoyed a bike more. An absolute riot of a thing.

Unintentional, RD!
jeeeeez, and I thought the rockers on my hemlock were big!this appeals to me more and more
It looks like if you slammed the saddle the rockers would hit it at full travel.

As more and more 'Enduro/Freeride/Trail/All-mountain' bikes settle into very similar designs, this appeals to me more and more
It's cool that you can still use the internet to communicate despite your blindness
this looks interesting though
I'm baffled, what am I looking at.

The shock sits inside the frame I think. Interesting to know how to service or adjust it if so...

It drops out the bottom of the frame, when you remove a bolt or two
That gives you access to the adjusters too.
So you can't adjust rebound, compression etc without dropping the shock out of the frame? 😯
Stache carbon and the new Cannondale SuperX.

heres more info on the bike

I'm hankering after the Mojo Nicolai 29er at the moment to the point where I have a test ride lined up to see if I can do it justice.

It looks rather well proportioned with big wheels, I thought
BTW that Anthem had a Nobby Nic on the front and a Racing Ralph on the back...is that a recommended set up?
I have this exact tyre set up on 6 of my bikes. It's just a about perfect combination for anything.
Still hankering after one of these. Not sure if they are updating it for 2017 thou'... won't ever be able to afford one! 🙁
Just less nice colours iircNot sure if they are updating it for 2017 thou

Ralph is a good racy XC tyre. New Nic is a bit less rubbish than all the previous Nics, but still pretty rubbish. Straight line grip is moderately poor, cornering grip exceedingly poor (I was looking at mine the other day just thinking "why aren't the edge knobs at the edge?"), rolling resistance tolerable...
Gnnnrrrrk.Oh, and at my LBS, there's an Allez Sprint DSW in a truly epic orange. Available with Zipp wheels and S-works tyres (Should have been turbo cotton skinwalls) for £2500. The frame is a work of art.Gnnnrrrrk.
I bought the model behind - S-Works Tarmac DA - replaced my ageing Condor Leggero. Couldn't believe how quick the Tarmac is
That slash is nice. 29ers are beginning to look right. I like the hightower too.
I'm really liking the look and spec of the 2017 Kona Roadhouse
Frame Material: Reynolds 853 Butted Cromoly with Fillet Brazing
Wheels: Mavic Ksyrium Elite Disc Allroad Wheelset
Fork: Kona Carbon Road Disc
Crankset: Shimano Ultegra
Drivetrain: Shimano Ultegra 11spd
Brakes: Shimano RS805 Hydraulic
😀 Hell fire!
It does have a power meter though!
Seems to be a few options for that aero riser thing now, aero carbon, carbon round and aluminium round - what's the crack? Obs from the venge vias but what's it need a -17degree stem? What's the thinking behind it?
What's the thinking behind it?
Combined with the aeroriser* I believe the idea is to allow a smaller frame, meaning a smaller frontal area. Smaller frontal area = MOARAERO!
*If it's not a trademark already, I'm on to it!
so
Long headtube + regular aero bar
Is less aero than
Short headtube + riseraero
?
I believe so. (I am not an aerodynamicist)
Now as a fan of the Mojo/Nicolai I'm chucking stones from my glass house...but...
That Salsa has taken a kicking with the ugly stick....... 😯
