Buying a new fox float fork and have just noticed it has a tapered steerer.. I don't think the current fork is tapered.. So I'm wondering if anyone knows if the 2010 Giant Xtc1 has a tapered headtube?

No.But it may well have a 44mm headtube which means with the correct headset you could fit one.
