can anyone tell me what length stem the 09 five 18" frame comes supplied with?
I have a 2009 5AM and it came with a 90mm so I'd expect all to come with a 90mm.
I guess it depends on the spec and the size. Smaller frames will have shorter stems and more xc speced ones will have longer stems.
But I would guess they would put on just about any length stem you wanted but you might have to wait a little or be friendly with the shop your ordering it from.
Mine came with a 90mm, i replaced it with an 80, feels nicer!
Speaking of which, I happen to have a new and unused (warranty not yet registered) 2009 one that I bought in a sale but then realised I can't afford to keep (i already have a 2007)! if you're interested - let me know!
Mine's an 18" and came with a 90mm stem.
The 2007 5 i sold recently had a 75mm but i have yet to decide which i prefer!
