Most parts are original, except for BB, rear mech, cassette, saddle and pedals.

It's well used, a bit tatty round the edges (it is 11 years old!) but works well and is still a hoot on the downhills.

Do you think I could sell it for much? Would the retrobike folk be interested or is it tat to them?
Would it best to split it?
I've just put a deposit down for a new bike and need to pay it off...

Cheers

You would probably get a couple of hundred for it on eBay.

Well that's worth a pop then, did an ebay search but nothing from 2002 came up. Here's hoping they are desirable!

Geometry is pretty current for a trail bike is it not?

Not quite new enough to be new
Not quite old enough to be retro

I had one and loved it. Got me off the log drop at chicky. Definitely a classic. I'm sure someone'll pay a couple of hundred or more on eBay.

Williams, your pal is more than welcome to email me (in profile)...but I'll be giving it a clean up and getting it on ebay in a week or two probably.

The reason I've kept it for so long is that it did everything I wanted so well, XC, France trips, trail centres etc, but the longing for something new has become too much ๐Ÿ™‚
I will miss it though, it's got character.

Cheers Mal-ec, just not as well as your ST4...

Rusty, I think it's a 17" but I'll check with my mate you had the next size up and has a memory for these things.
