About time. I've been waiting for this for about ten years.
Great idea if it's less draggy than the 'hoff.
It should be SSS. Wahtever this type of gearbox is called is more efficient than a epicyclic as in alfine / rolf.

You're shitting me! I built one of these about ten years ago in my shed, using parts from an old Henry hoover, some duck tape, a coat-hanger and broken blender....

That's very, very cool. But why does it have a mech-hanger? Odd...
I think we've just seen the future for MTB gearing. Cool thing.
