Hi.

My thru axle broke on my lapeirre zesty 314 2013. i bought a rockshox. came to fit it and the thread is thicker?
i thought that it was all standardized but obv not, having reading on shop sites and other sites no where tells you what thread you need or what axle you need?

Any ideas?

Sam

Nay, 3 types.

I read something recently which had the details of all three, I'll see if I can find it.

Edit: here, you need type 1, a Shimano style one, like this.

I use a a Shimano e thru axle, this one
You have to use the original nut that came with the Zesty to screw into, the shimano one that comes with the axle doesn't fit in the Zesty's frame.

EDIT - oops, just realised that njee's second link is the same axle. I can definitely confirm it is right though.
