Specifically a Genesis Day 1 that needs new wheels and some Shimano RS010 wheels.
Anyone know if this will work?

I've done it the other way many times with no issue and it'll likely be ok for your combo too though make sure the qr is nice and tight. Usual caveats apply...
For RS10 wheels you could just get a 135 axle and spacers though which wouldn't cost much and would simplify things.
