Hi, i have finally switched to 12 speed from 10.
Am running an XT 51-10 with an XT chain and a blackspire oval chainring.
Have done 1100 dry miles over the last few months, dry XC.
Chain is less than 0.5% worn, i.e Pedros v2 checker doesn't drop in.
Decided to put a new chain on and keep switching them for longevity as the cassettes are so damn expensive.
But it is noisy under heavy load, seems to be coming from the front thick thin.
Do I go back to the old chain, switch the front thick thin or just let it wear and hope it quietens down?
