local ride this morning with the dog, school run this afternoon, club night and pub.....

My granddad would have been 100 today.

i intend to be sat at mellor cross, thinking about my granddad and all his mates, and will spare a thought for my granny who still misses him to this day.

Up to 11 i'll be helping/chatting to the window fitter who is busy fitting new glass in all my windows. Couple of minutes not doing much but remembering thoes that served for their countries and lost their lives. Then from 11.02 back to helping/chatting. Hopefully come the afternoon i'll have a water tight and slightly more energy efficient flat, then i can get on with tuning gears bleeding a brake and replacing some wheel bearings.

I would just like to point out to all Americans today is 11/11/11 NOT 11/11/11.

At 11, I'll be spending a couple of minutes quietly turning my thoughts to [b]all[/b] the victims of war, combatants and civilians.
