No doubt done before but...

1 x 10 - doesn't the chain get pulled almost too far off the crankring at high & lowest gears? I find this even on a 1 x 9. How do ppl get around this? cheers

No idea what you mean.

I run 1x10 XT and an LG1+ no problem at all, apart from the chain rubs on the top guide when run in the highets and lowest gears, its no big deal.

No, the upper and lower gears on the cassette are in the same place, they're just thinner (along with the chain) to fit the extra cog in.

That's exactly what i mean - i get chain rub when in the lowest gear (biggest cog). Is that normal then?

Sorry for the late reply, OOPs only 5months.

Ya thats normal I get on 1x9 also. It depends a bit on how far you rotate the guide forward or backward though, as this effects the angle and therefore the width of the guide.

If it botehrs you just get a a strightline guide instead

Is this any worse than middle ring on a normal triple though?
