[#6812921]

I've just enjoyed reading the issue 95 1 tonne adventure, where the chaps use 100 quid tops to enjoy a good bike based adventure away.

I also remember a few other articles along these lines.

Where I'm going with this is. Are there any other good 1 tonne adventures that could be shared.

I know some may be close kept secrets (I have my own sneaky camping spots in the lakes I'd never share.) But some may just be too good to keep to ourselfs.

If so please share, photos as ever make it even better!

Thanks

2 nights in a youth hostel in the lakes, food, and beer? I reckon I could do that for a ton.

I did my 3 week trip to Slovenia for £290 - so I guess a week cycle touring with a tent (assuming you own the kit already) could easily come in under £100

Cowman - it was 20 days/19 night in total and I cycled too Slovenia so my main costs were camping(£150), food(£110) and the ferry(£30) I also got a free lift home which helped. I did spend about £320 in total, but would have bought them anyway or have sold them afterwards so didn't really count that as cost of the trip
