Suspension
RockShox
Iconic suspension brand and half of the modern fork duopoly, part of SRAM.
Who are RockShox?
RockShox helped invent modern mountain bike suspension: its RS-1 fork, launched in 1989 by Paul Turner and Steve Simons, is widely credited with kicking off the whole category. It was later sold to SRAM — famously over a single phone call — and is now one of the two brands that define the market.
Today the line spans the Pike, Lyrik and ZEB trail-to-enduro forks, the cross-country SID, the Super Deluxe and Vivid rear shocks and the Reverb dropper post, all tightly integrated with SRAM's wider drivetrain and electronics ecosystem.
