Video: Innes Graham In Da Jungle

by 6

Wicked, wicked etc. Innes inna Inners. Spot that trail, enjoy some tunes, and know that you could do it like, that, do it like that – maybe*.

Here’s what the film’s editors had to say:

“COLLABORATE” is now LIVE – Hit the link in bio to check it out!

This project came about in a slow period of the year. Me and Nath were chatting about the current state of the bike industry, the chopping of budgets, poor treatments of riders and brands dropping out left and right.

We had an idea to create something just for the love of it. No budget, no aim or goal, just a group of likeminded people coming together to collaborate on something we all love – Bikes, Music & Creating.

Nath hit up Innes who was kind enough to give us a couple days of his time and Jim jumped on to help with production- and off we went.

It’s not often you can have your music producer recording sound on location not to mention create a full track just for the purpose of the video. After the days shooting, me and Nath sat down to play some beats alongside the raw footage to gauge the tempo of the track. We chopped up some sounds then I let him run loose on it- what he came back with was this jungle/ breakbeat 160 masterpiece! We could then chop the footage to it, knowing the pacing would be on point, then focus on sound design.

This project pinballed between everyone involved to make sure we created the best product we could – all for the love of it. Doing something different to what’s previously been shown in the cycling industry.

Proper proud of this one and everyone involved- big up!

Huge shout out the following:
Film/Edit – @kickrocks.co & @jim_topliss.mov
Track/Sound design – @n8audiouk & @skopeduk
Graphics – @catriona_dick
Moral support – @meganthalia
Main Man Himself – @innesgrahambike

*There was much amusement in the office as Hannah attempted to find the tune this came from. Many renditions, everyone in the office looking at her like she’s mad. Do you get it?**

**James Vincent got it straight away. Not just a clever photographer.

I came to Singletrack having decided there must be more to life than meetings. I like all bikes, but especially unusual ones. More than bikes, I like what bikes do. I think that they link people and places; that cycling creates a connection between us and our environment; bikes create communities; deliver freedom; bring joy; and improve fitness. They're environmentally friendly and create friendly environments. I try to write about all these things in the hope that others might discover the joy of bikes too.

It’s a bit more ‘real’ than a lot of the videos we see, so many of them are so far detached from the activities we do. Whilst i couldn’t get down the trails like that, i do feel a certain part of me wouldn’t necessarily die trying 🙂

Nice vid, though the music isn’t my cuppa. The trails are though and I love riding them, even rode past Innes and the crew whilst they where filming!

Love the trails and filming. I think if I rode them everyday for a decade I still couldn’t ride them that well
