    @hardtailonly there are wedding/love themed clues with bikey answers, and vice versa.

    Got all of them apart from 7 across.

    I have tried cheating and done an Internet search of all 8 letter words with ‘R’ as the 3rd letter and ‘E’ as the 7th (1012 words!), but none fit.

    I feel it must be a word starting with B, and meaning ‘to have loaned to you’, as it all fits with the clue, and the superstition ‘something old, something new, something b-r—e-, something blue’, but the crossword is not having it! (But then, on mu phone, the crossword has gone a bit glitchy when I accidentally deleted 6 down, and it won’t accept the ‘e’ again.

    @stwhannah … definitely not typing it in wrong, as the ‘e’ is just not showing either on 6 down or 7 across, ever since I accidentally deleted 6 down after the crossword accepted it as the correct answer. I’ve taken a screenshot which I can email across if you let me know which email to send it to.

    The glitch where a letter disappears/is erased and then you can’t populate the the space again has happened a few times on the crosswords when I’ve been doing them but a refresh of the page has always cleared the problem for me.
