Bespoked: Ryden Bikes’ Free 3D Print Your Own Bike Fit

by 2

Bespoked, taking place 14-16th October in London, celebrates hand built bikes and their makers. Sometimes those makers are making bits for bikes, as well as whole bikes. Here, we’ve got a frame builder who has also designed a 3D printable bike fit tool. If you’ve got a niggling ache after a ride, maybe this is what you need? Berkshire based Darren Ryden builds one-off bikes in steel and stainless steel. He’s in the process of building a road bike for Bespoked, but we think you might like another project of his: 3D printing instructions for a bike fit tool. Credit:...

I came to Singletrack having decided there must be more to life than meetings. I like all bikes, but especially unusual ones. More than bikes, I like what bikes do. I think that they link people and places; that cycling creates a connection between us and our environment; bikes create communities; deliver freedom; bring joy; and improve fitness. They're environmentally friendly and create friendly environments. I try to write about all these things in the hope that others might discover the joy of bikes too.

The bike in the first pic showing the tool being used…. that’s mine that is.

It’s very good, went through a lot of iterations to get the 3D printed parts right.
