Nominations open for 2022 Singletrack Reader Awards
The Singletrack Reader Awards fundamentally celebrate those who have just done good stuff. We’re looking for your nominations for the individuals, brands and organisations that have made a difference to mountain biking this year.

Most Desirable Mountain Bike
Which bike do you most lust after? Which is the coolest mountain bike machine released in the past year?
Most Innovative Mountain Bike Product
Just like it says on the tin, which component has actually brought something new and worthwhile to the bike world?
Trail Team
This award is about the trails we ride. Which organisation has got people maintaining trails, learning building skills, creating sustainable and legitimate trails? Is it a dig crew, a community project, or even a trail centre that’s had people picking up a shovel in the name of future fun?
Community Builders
This award is about people. Who is getting bums on saddles? Who is creating the opportunity for new people to discover mountain bikes? We want to hear about the project, campaign or other initiative that’s helping build the MTB community.
Bike Industry Paying It Back
Which brand has put their money where their mouth is? Who has championed a cause for the benefit of the mountain bike culture?
Best Photographer
Some things don’t change. Singletrack World Magazine and Singletrackworld.com have still been filled with great images. Which snapper has consistently delivered the goods?
Best Writer
Which author, published in our magazine or on Singletrackworld.com, gave you pause for thought, a moment of laughter, or just a good dose of escapism? This award will be awarded to the writer made the biggest impression this year.
Best Trail Network or Trail Centre
Put simply, where do you think is the best place to ride in the UK?
Mountain Bike Personality Of The Year
Who has worked the hardest, raced the fastest, championed the most or just helped enable more of us to get out and ride. Who has inspired you the most in the last 12 months?

The format is the same as previous years. We’ve revealed the categories now, and you, the readers, will let us know your nominations. Finalists will be selected, and who wins will be down to you and your votes. No cheques will change hands and no gerrymandering will fix the vote: who wins will be up to you.
Remember that it’s up to you to persuade us why your nomination should become a finalist. Tell us what a difference you’ve seen them make, or what their work means to you, and why you’re nominating them.
