New Specialized Ambush 2 and Camber helmets

by 11

The new lids from Specialized take helmet peaks to the next level. Literally. Will this high visor aesthetic take off?

I’ve only had it a week and I’ve thoroughly crash-tested it. Ouch. The blood stain is from a cut to my palm by the way.

Sorry can’t look at the Ambush without seeing Donald Trumps hair. Let’s hope they don’t make an orange version.

I can just see me ducking under a branch or tree and catching that peek = crunch or head trauma.

How about the great British horizontal rain? Will a higher peek keep it out of your face I wonder?

    No thanks I’ll pass.

Think I’ll keep my current one. That new one looks like a Jim Carey quiff from Ace Ventura.

I’ve got a Bell Spark & the peak on that is a little bit up there, but still actually works.

More pointless “innovation”, no doubt someone will buy them!

The outgoing ambush models are going half price. Worth a look if you’re after a well ventilated MIPS lid.
