Snowshoe DH World Cup 1

Winning Runs from Snowshoe DH World Cup One

by 0

So that’s one round down and two winners crowned. All that’s left is the final round of the downhill world cup. It will be the second round to take place out in Snowshoe, as this one is a double-header. The track is super technical and rocky in parts, suspension setup has got to be a difficult one for the mix of features.

The second round will see the course have some changes, so it will be interesting to see how things change. Race one was as exciting as ever. The overall isn’t a given yet either, so we shall see who takes the title on Saturday.

Snowshoe has seen its fair share of crashes already, taking out plenty of riders. It can be an unforgiving course, there are some nasty rock sections, drops and large jumps. That aside, the winners of round one both celebrated their first elite win. Let’s see what happens at round two.

One could say Vali Höll & Reece Wilson have much in common – they are both former Downhill MTB World Champions, they end most of their races north of the top 10 mark, they both ride Trek bikes… and from today on, they will both be known as the riders who earned their first ever elite world cup wins in Snowshoe, USA.

Not too good about writing about myself, but not so bad at writing about other things. There was a time that I hated bikes, but then they became my life. Wouldn't be the person I am if I hadn't been on this journey. Here's to bikes, drinking tea and everything that comes with life on two wheels. I'm Lauren, I like bikes and writing about them. Always trying my best and up for adventures.
