The downhill was yet another treat, with so many speedy riders getting between the tapes it was anyone’s game. If you missed it, here’s the downhill replay from Crankworx Innsbruck.

It was good to get another race in the bag and more confidence on the bike. That’s what we were looking for, so it was a great weekend of racing. I’m looking forward to coming back. It’s a little bit flat and physical track, so you just need to be really smooth and try and avoid mistakes, and crank some pedals where you can. Really happy with my run.

Loris Vergier

It was so hot and I was just so tired from the whole week. I couldn’t handle the heat that well. On top I felt like I was going to black out because I was sweating so hard. I just wanted to keep it together and show people that I’m consistently fast. I’m happy I made that happen because I think that there’s still some improvement, but I’m happy I’m consistent. And I won first place, so that’s pretty sick.

Not too good about writing about myself, but not so bad at writing about other things. There was a time that I hated bikes, but then they became my life. Wouldn't be the person I am if I hadn't been on this journey. Here's to bikes, drinking tea and everything that comes with life on two wheels. I'm Lauren, I like bikes and writing about them. Always trying my best and up for adventures.
