Video: Samantha Soriano’s Road to Red Bull Formation – Episode Two

by 1

A lot has changed in the run-up to this year’s Red Bull Formation. With travel restrictions to contend with, a few of the riders are unable to make it to the event. Samantha Soriano has been busy preparing, this time by riding with three Rampage alumni.

In episode two, Sam has Ethan Nell, DJ Brandt and Reed Boggs on hand for guidance. Three riders who know how to tackle this kind of terrain.

Red Bull Formation Returns – Women’s freeride is flying high!

It’s great to see the progression as she rides some steep lines, works on her tricks and pushes herself. The terrain is pretty unforgiving in Utah. Some of the features of her line are pretty big. She hesitates, but the guys are there to push her on and let her know that she’s got this.

Episode three is out on 26 May. For now, follow Samantha Soriano on Instagram to keep up to date with what she’s up to. The event is due to take place from 24 May to 1 June.

Not too good about writing about myself, but not so bad at writing about other things. There was a time that I hated bikes, but then they became my life. Wouldn't be the person I am if I hadn't been on this journey. Here's to bikes, drinking tea and everything that comes with life on two wheels. I'm Lauren, I like bikes and writing about them. Always trying my best and up for adventures.

These have been on my watch later list for a little while. My only complaint? Too short. Great little insights into Samantha’s prep for Formation though. I loved how she was holding back on that rock (which is huge!), but the first time she did it she does a seat grab! Talented indeed.
