2019 YT Range Launches But Where’s The Jeffsy?

by 5

YT bikes have updated its complete range of bikes for 2019 and have already posted them to the official YT website, well they’ve all been updated bar one.

2019 YT Capra

An alloy Capra costs from £2299.

The Capra heads up the 2019 range of YT bikes, with all new colour options. The enduro bike/park bike (remember it WILL accept a dual crown fork) is still available in either 27.5 or 29in wheels and there remain options for either carbon or alloy frames.

2019 versions of the YT Capra 27 still come in sizes ranging from Small to XXL, while the 29er model is offered in only M to XXL with UK pricing starting at just £2299.00 for a Base alloy bike and topping out at £4999.00 for the top of the range carbon model with Fox Factory everything.

The Capra still comes with E*thirteen 1×11 drivetrain offering a claimed 511% range on the top end bike, while more affordable options get SRAM 1×12 Eagle drivetrains as standard.

2019 YT Tues

2019 Tues starts from as little as £2299.

The Tues downhill bike also gets an update for 2019 but like the Capra, these updates are generally cosmetic and each model still runs on 27.5in wheels rather than the 29in wheels we’ve seen on World Cup prototypes we spotted last season.

2019 YT Tues downhill bikes are available from just £2299.00 for a Base alloy model, while a flagship carbon Pro Race will set you back £4,999, again with top end Fox suspension front and rear.

2019 YT Dirt Love

The complete 2019 Dirt Love costs only £1199.

The last 2019 update, so far, is the Dirt Love. This is YT’s dirt jump model, and again it gets a new paint job for 2019, but perhaps, more importantly, it’s also available in a large size option now too. The Dirt Love is only available in one model as a complete bike costing £1,199 complete with Rockshock Pike 26 DJ fork.

While YT has updated the range, and the website, the bikes aren’t actually available for immediate shipping. Those of you wanting a 2019 Capra will have to wait until next week while the Dirt Love won’t be in stock till March 2019.

Where’s the 2019 YT Jeffsy?

What hasn’t been updated though is the popular Jeffsy trail bike? The Jeffsy is still listed online but it’s still the 2018 model that is shown and many options of the bike are out of stock with no mention of a restock date. Does this mean that the Jeffsy is due an update, or does YT have something else planned? Comments below.
