Wait wait! Before you rush to the comments and tell us off for posting about an “American” holiday please remember a couple of things. 1) We do have a great following over the pond, and 2) Black Friday might be a cheap cash grab, but it’s also a great time to bag some bargains.

Black Friday
Yay! It’s Black Friday…..

What is Black Friday?

Black Friday is known for that time of year when shoppers across the world go insane, punch each other in the face, and generally act in a very unbecoming manner.

Traditionally though, Black Friday is celebrated the day after Thanksgiving Day in the United States. The first Black Friday sale was held in 1932 and is seen as the start of the Christmas Shopping Season. Although it started as an in store promotion, due to the great 1930’s Internet draught, smart shoppers know to stay away from the madness and buy online.

So with that (very brief) history lesson over, let’s move on to the bargains!
