As you may have just read, the dates have been set for the 2017 Ard Rock Festival. Having raced and covered the 2016 event, we can thoroughly recommend it for any mountain biker wanting a unique mountain biking experience in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It’s an absolute ripper!
But if you don’t believe us, we’ve got some race footage from our very own Singletrack James, and have worked it into a short little video for your viewing pleasure. While the video doesn’t do the steepness of the trails any justice, you should be able to see that there’s plenty of high-speed shredding on offer during the enduro stages. And it’s pretty darn techy in spots too!
James’ weapon of choice for the 2016 Ard Rock Enduro race was the Kona Process 153. If you haven’t had the chance already, make sure you check out James’ final longterm review of the Kona Process 153, where he talks about some of the changes and tweaks he made to get the most out of the bike.
Otherwise, enjoy this short little edit of the 2016 Ard Rock Enduro race! Oh but we’ll forewarn you; if you’re sensitive to foul language, then you may not want to watch this…
