What She Said: “Introducing…”
Here's column number one from another of our new Singletrack Columnists, What She Said. Mostly – though not exclusively – on the topic of ranting...
Rant! Rantrantrantrant! RANT! Oh, and RANT!
Write us an article.
OK, but RANTRANT! Then, RANT!
Seriously, write us something. 1,000 words. On whatever RANT you want.
I will, but first let me just rant for a minute. SOMEONE ON THE INTERNET IS WRONG.
You know what? Start a column.
Yeah yeah, but I just have this one last thing to RANTRANTYRA

I for one….there’s strength in numbers and my number is one………think that is very entertainingly written and I look foreword to more.
Nice one
The Lady With No Name!
Male dominated? It’s all about perspective. I’d call it a “target rich” environment.
Looking forward to more columns. 🙂
Should have named yourself SingletrackRant!
Excellent! Have at it!
Looking forward to more columns! Good stuff.
I was at the Forest Of Dean Mini Night Enduro on Saturday and amongst a long list of male categories there was only one female category that included all the girls.
The prizes for that category were worth far less than the male categories (admittedly that’s on the sponsors, seemed to be different ones for each race), but the organiser didn’t even hand anything out for one of the places and seemed confused as to what was supposed to be the prize.
What made it worse though was that 3rd place in the girls category wasn’t even at the award ceremony nor 4th place when they offered it out. When they called out 2nd place there was an eerie silence until someone stepped forward and the crowd applauded.
