After ten years, mini-DH bike gets bigger (or the same) wheels – and apparently likes pedalling more…
Building on its “aggressive heritage,” the 2015 Canfield Brothers Balance has been redesigned to deliver 160mm of bump-eating downhill performance as well as to make it one of the most efficiently pedalling bikes in its class. The updated platform, in 6061 aluminium, will accept either 27.5 or 26in wheels. Unheard-of when the original was released ten years ago, the Balance now sports internal dropper routing and a 12x142mm thru axle.
The frame is available in the UK from Cranknuts in anodised black or brushed silver with the choice of six (six!) link colours. Pivots each measure 15mm and roll on Enduro Max bearings. Frames with a Cane Creek DB Air CS shock cost £1690, and complete builds start at £2990.

Nice looking frame…. Bit of a screwup making it incompatible with Sram XX1 cranks though
I think if I was making a frame I’d make it incompatible with SRAM cranks to protect my customers from their BBs
