So where are the shots of them trying to ride through that delectable mud and horsepoop semifreddo that I remember coating the trail from October to May? Preferably before toppling sideways slow-mo into the gloop?
How about the but where you search in the undergrowth for a stick that’s thin enough and yet strong enough to scrape the clay from your wheels because you can’t physically push the bike any more?
Instead of a matey beer at the loch they should be sitting around with the washing machine in bits trying to remove half a hillside from it’s innards while their SO looks on in stoney silence.
Or is that just me?
Nope, me too.
And its just round the corner… sh1t!!! best get some fair weather riding in before the annual brain washing required to get yourself out in the dark months. I’m fine about that though, riding in winter is satisfying and rewarding!
Was that my imagination, or did that ride mysteriously start in Clapham, North Yorks?
On the high track (Thwaite Lane) from Austwick?
My first thoughts on that too. Always a bugger riding down that wearing sunglasses for the top section!
