The bag manufacturer Timbuk2 was established in San Francisco in 1989. As its name suggests, the D-Lux messenger bag is one of the more feature-filled bags that Timbuk2 offers. Compared to other messenger bags I’ve used the standout features were the tough exterior material and waterproof liner, although like many other messenger bags it bemuses me why it’s not made from brighter or reflective material [Timbuk2 does have both bright and reflective options available via its custom bag builder – Ed.].
