This week, we’re introducing: MTB Monster
Tuesday Treats is heading to lovely Lancashire this week. We hand duties over to Paul Hoyle who talks us through everything from good old fashioned quality service, to the latest trends in colour customisation…
Here at MTB Monster as I’m sure you’ve probably already worked out, we’re rather passionate about all things mountain bike. We are dealers in – Orange, Lapierre, Commencal, Mondraker, Yeti, Saracen, Bergamont and Frog Bikes. Whether you shop in-store, online, want some friendly advice or expert workshop servicing, we offer a clear approach to Delivery, a Safe and Secure online shopping experience and a 90 Day Returns policy.
Sales, Repairs, Servicing and Shredding, that’s us. MTB Monster specialise in creating your customised mountain bike, from the ground up and right back down to cockpit choice and components colour options. We love it.
What’s your current best-selling/hottest product?
We all love to think big don’t we but in terms of value and capability the Lapierre X-Control 227 is a best seller…
Which product/brand does every staff member have on their bike?
A nice big bell and spoke reflectors are a must!
Talk to us about custom builds… what are you working on at the minute?
Oh yes, we’re all pretty excited about a project we have in the works. The customer was keen to use Hope Tech’s re-introduction of purple to add some flavour to a new bike build.
With this in mind and our Monster roots, a theme focused around the Incredible Hulk very quickly became a reality and we decided to bring it all together with the Orange Five 650b (and a spec, very similar to the RS model). It’s just been given the go-ahead this week. We will be keeping our Facebook followers updated on all of the ‘Hulk’s’ build stages.
What about Demo bikes?
We offer our Orange Demo Bikes for £40 per session. Our customers can book any of the Orange full suspension bikes (Gyro/Five/Alpine) in their particular size and then come out riding with us to get a hands-on trail experience of the bike, properly set up.
Is there a regular shop ride or forthcoming event you think our readers should know about?
Every Thursday we go out riding for an hour blast, and often a more lenghty two hour stretch within 45 mins of the store. We’re a friendly bunch and we welcome newcomers. To keep everyone up to speed our ride details are posted on our Facebook page.
How can we best stay in touch?
We have steadily built a really good following on Facebook. With Twitter in the mix too, we keep our followers regularly dosed up with our take on all the necessary MTB news and views.
Lastly, what do Singletrack Premier Subscribers get from you guys?
