We’ve sifted through your nominations, stacked your suggestions into piles and selected the final choices to be put to the vote. This is your chance to tell us what your favourite mountain biking things of the past 12 months were and make sure the right people get rewarded with the coveted Singletrack Reader Award trophy.
There’s been plenty of campaigning – especially in the ever competitive Best Bike Shop category – and we expect it to be a closely fought battle, so your vote could make all the difference.
Update
We’ve added a ‘no opinion’ option.
For all the people who had already voted, re-visit the page and instruction will be there on what to do if you want to re-do your vote.

why do you have to vote in each section????
Agreed, Only 4 of those I have any experience of, how can I vote for the best event when I didn’t go to any of them?
As above, results will not be accurate if we have to guess a vote for something we have no experience of.Not too many readers will be qualified to comment on every product!
I couldn’t care less about new bikes, frames or components but glad to see a few of my nominations made it up there:
Dave’s ‘For Lakeland Lovers’, many people would probably go for his Access piece instead but I really enjoyed the wordage of the former.
Also Rowan Sorrell; reckon Danny Megaskill will win this but from where I live you can’t throw a stone without hitting some new trail that Rowans been actively involved in, really hope he wins this, he puts a lot back into the sport.
I agree, it’s difficult to vote on a bike shop hundreds of miles away you’ve never had contact with.
Where is the web retailer award thingy?
Same here – I don’t want to vote for any gizmos. I want to vote for some nice people, pictures and words. Can it be tweaked?

Ta for that, it’s nice to know it’s appreciated 🙂
We’re going to add an ‘I have no opinion’ button shortly.

Well done people. How very agile 🙂
The categories are a bit rubbish.
Best Personality: Personality??
Best Mail order shop: Oh the excitement.
Software/Hardware: Hum..
One of my favourite parts of the mag have been the mid-week movies so it would be good if we could have a vote for those. There has been so great ones. How about best thread on the forum 🙂
Grumpy cynical George.
These are the same categories we’ve had for the last ten years in the main.
