North Shore Billet

http://northshorebillet.com

These guys sit in Vancouver, machining brake mounts, hose tidies and 74 different derailleur hangers for a ton of different bikes. Distributed in the UK by Shorelines www.shore-lines.co.uk

Many Post-mount to IS adaptors and everything in between.
It's simple and un-necessary, but somehow it pleases us.

Point1 Racing

Brought in by Hotlines, this company seems to be gaining many fans – certainly for its slim Podium Pedal.

Slim, deconstructed and very grippy.
Clever all mountain stem with integral stem cap. Clever stuff.
More cleverness. You can rotate the eccentric handlebar-holder within this bolt-on stem up or down to give you a 2mm rise to 8mm drop.
Penalty over a regular non-adjustable stem is apparently only 4g
Coming soon, this is a rough-machine version of its new XC 90mm stem, again with integral stem cap.
70mm. Comes in all the colours. Black and white.

I’ve been running the NSB Fox hose guides for a few years. Saves 3g! Comes in different colours! What’s not to love?

Wow! How does it save weight over the plastic part is replaces?
    No purple? 🙂

are the unfinished silver stems actually 90mm and the final picture their 70mm ones?

Yes, the 70mm is the all-mountain stem and the silver one is the 90mm XC stem.

Of what benefit is the built in topcap?

Seems like a hindrance to me not being able to shift about spacers to find the right height.

‘You can rotate the handlebars within this bolt-on stem to give you a 2mm rise to 8mm drop. ‘

I’m pretty sure I can rotate the handlebars in my existing stem. I fail to see what the point of that particular solution waiting for a problem??

    Its eccentric, like an EBB…

Yup, poorly explained but that’s what it does alright.

MMM, North Shore Billet brake adaptors. I have about 10 million better things to spend £40 on but there’s a sort of creeping inevitability that sooner or later I MUST own red ones for the Hemlock to improve its colourmatchedness

No split clamp on the direct mount one looks a PITA

Whisper it, but if you get the NSB brake doobries on US Ebay, they are about £12 posted.
