    Hi

Ive bagged an old frame fitted with an M970 crank which Id like to transfer to a new 456

My questions are basically how do I mount it on the On One?
Their website doesnt give much away about what spacers I’ll need and where
Apologies if this is a bit numptyish 🙂

Secondly any idea where I can buy the poxy plastic ring you need to remove on the non drive side please?
The previous owner trashed it trying to remove it and its unusable
I have all of the crank removal bits I just need the plastic thing

CRC sell them as a bundle but I dont need the other bits

    Thanks

EDIT: just realised shimano have the techie stuff online here

There’s some decent fitting info on the Park Tools site. You will need the special crank removal tool to take the cranks off, but not to fit.

The threaded plastic ring is not needed: all it does is stop muck getting to the threads in the LH arm: as long as you clean them out before using the crank removal tool you’re fine.

BB fitment is standard: if its a 68mm BB shell on the bike you’ll need 2 spacers between BB cop and frame on the driveside, 1 non-drive, if 73mm BB shell then just 1 on drive side.
