His day was 5 years ago – Capello is just winding the RS up, good on him.
It's not a squad that's going to terrify anyone, just two elite players (if Cole is actually fit) plus a great manager. Good strength all round I guess, and it's not like you need eleven world class players to win the thing.
Defence looks a bit dodgy – Ferdinand's been in and out all season, Cole is just back, King is a perma-crock. Johnson's been shown up badly as a defender a few times – Hart has been spectacular all season but isn't experienced at int level. So a few question marks.
Don't really understand Walcott or SWP being picked. I've not seen much of Walcott, admittedly, but most Arsenal fans I hear say he's still miles away from being a top drawer player.
Are there any egregious omissions? I'd put Phil Jagielka ahead of Upson or Dawson, but there's not much in it and it's not like he'd be in the starting line-up.
